The Easter holidays are just around the corner for many. If you’re looking for something to do over the next few days, here’s our guide to what’s on for youngsters and adults alike.

1 The Health-on-Line Bournemouth Bay Run returns this Sunday. More than 4,500 runners are set to take part in the event with a half marathon, 10k, 5k and a 1k kids’ fun run to choose from and all routes will take runners along the coastline. 2 Westbourne Farmers Market takes place this Saturday in Landseer Road. Shoppers will be able to buy breads, cheeses, vegetables, meats, plants and more between 9am and 2.30pm.

3 Creekmoor Church is holding a public event on Saturday before work starts on its new community hub. Between 10.30am and 12.30pm, there will be a raffle and coffee and cake on sale plus the chance to see the final plans for the new hub with a short presentation at 11.30am.

4 West Cliff Baptist Church is holding an Easter fair on Saturday between 11am and 3pm. There will be face painting, games, a raffle and stalls selling jewellery, books, sweet treats and more on sale plus light refreshments. Entry costs £1.

5 Winton Salvation Army’s Easter fun day takes place on Saturday in Latimer Road. There will be an “interactive Easter journey” with free Easter egg, a bouncy castle, Easter crafts and a sensory area. Entry is free and the fun runs between 10am and 2pm.

6 Children of all ages can make their own finger puppet at the Regent Centre on Monday between 10am and 12.30pm at a family friendly workshop. Donations are welcome.

7 William Cole & Sons Family Fairground is at Bournemouth's Redhill Park each day until April 14.

8 A family pond dipping event is taking place at Hengistbury Head on Monday between 10am and 11.30am and 1pm to 2.30pm. Costs £3 per child and is suitable for children aged five and over. Booking is essential.

9 Fashionistas can hunt for a bargain at Bournemouth Vintage Kilo Sale at the Citygate Church between 10am and 4pm. Super early bird entry at 10am followed by early bird access at 11am with general access at 12pm.

10 Join a two-hour guided walk on Brownsea Island tomorrow between 11am and 1pm. Visitors will find out about island family life through time. The walk is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

11 The Clash tribute band London Calling will play the band’s second album, Give ‘Em Enough Rope, in full at The Old Fire Station tomorrow night.

12 Musical theatre group Collabro come to Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre on Saturday night.

13 Singer Songwriter Olly Olsson will be making his professional debut at Poole’s Lighthouse tomorrow night. The 20-year-old who grew up in the New Forest released his first EP Footsteps in the Dark last year and is described as having “a unique modern style voice blending perfectly with his own piano written scores.” He will be performing in the venue’s Sherling Studio.
