BROWNSEA Island's campsite is now open for the season.
The site, run by the National Trust team at the island's outdoor centre, opens for eco-adventure camping from April to September.
Centre manager Amada Shorey said: "This low-impact experience is fantastic for those campers who are looking for a spot to pitch their tent with great views and get some peace and quiet.
"My favourite time of the day is dawn, when the birds start to sing and stretch out their wings. I love sitting on the beach with a cup of tea as the sun rises and watching the Island come alive. It is a feeling that few get to experience which makes it even more special."
Campers can catch the ferry over to the island, in Poole Harbour, and head up to the campsite on foot, or even sail or kayak straight to the south shore.
The centre has basic facilities including hot showers, toilets and equipment hire.
