THE death of an 18-year-old woman at Boscombe's O2 Academy is suspected of being drugs-related, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to the Christchurch Road venue at 4.26am on Sunday to reports of a woman from the Thames Valley area in cardiac arrest.
The patient was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, but she died later that morning.
Her next of kin have been informed and the coroner notified.
The O2 was hosting a rave event which was due to finish at 5am.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "Officers are treating the death as suspected drug-related and not suspicious. Inquiries are being carried out on behalf of the coroner."
