POLICE are continuing to hunt for armed raiders who robbed a Bournemouth jewellery shop last week.
Four men – one of whom held a Samurai sword – targeted Franses Jewellers in Westover Road at midday on Thursday, March 14.
Members of the public were held off at sword point while the raid was carried out. The men stole a number of items and fled on motorbikes just minutes before police arrived.
A huge search involving the police helicopter was carried out in Bournemouth, Boscombe and Springbourne. Trains were also briefly held at Bournemouth station.
Officers found three motorbikes and the sword. However, no arrests have been made and investigations continue.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting 55190038960.
