A PERSON was airlifted to hospital following a crash in North Dorset yesterday.
Police were called to a single-vehicle collision at Zig Zag Hill near Shaftesbury at 5.15pm. It was reported that a vehicle had left the road.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We attended with the fire brigade in support.
"One person was taken to Southampton General Hospital in an air ambulance."
Road closures were put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
