DORSET-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find homes for animals in its care this week.

Patches, nine, is very sweet once he gets to know you but he can get very worried with vet handling. He’s looking for a forever home as the only pet with no small children.

Charlie, 12, is looking for a forever home as his previous owner had to move into a nursing home. He would need to be the only pet in a quiet home as it takes him a while to trust people.

Trevor is an 11-month-old guinea pig looking for a forever home with his brother Bernard. They will both need regular grooming and claw clipping. They are a bit nervous but are quickly learning to trust the staff.

Jano, a two-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, is loving and excitable and loves running around and learning. She could potentially live with a male dog, but would have to meet them first, slightly older children, and possibly cats too.

Becca, a four-year-old greyhound, has a sweet and lively personality. She loves to run and play and enjoys walks with other dogs but would be happiest as the only pet in the home. She could like with teenage children.

Ranger is a six-year-old ex-racing greyhound who’s laid back and enjoys snuggles, playtime and socialising with his doggy friends. He could live with a large sized dog and older children but not with cats or small furries.

To rehome any of the dogs call the Lincoln Farm centre on 01929 471340, or for the cats and guinea pigs call Church Knowle on 01929 480474.
