A PERSONAL assistant from Wareham law firm Humphries Kirk is taking on the Swim22 Challenge.
Rebecca Green has to complete a distance equivalent to the width of the English Channel in her local pool over a 12-week period.
The fundraiser is in aid of Diabetes UK.
Rebecca said: "I chose to take on this challenge because it is such a worthwhile cause with so many people living with as yet undiagnosed type two diabetes, as recently highlighted in the media.
"I’m making good progress so far but it’s certainly going to be tough to complete. It works out as 1,416 lengths of my local 25metre pool, but I’m excited to complete the challenge and raise money for a worthwhile cause along the way."
