HOMES in Bournemouth and East Dorset are without power this morning.
Properties in BH21 and BH7 are affected. Some homes have been without electric since shortly after 10am.
A total of 16 postcodes are affected.
Properties in Three Legged Cross, Ashley Heath and Wimborne lost power at 11am. Some 39 customers are affected. Power should be restored by 4pm.
People living in Wheaton Road, Redbeck Road and Clarence Park Road are also affected, with power cutting just after 10.20am.
Engineers are currently carrying out repairs to a fault on an underground cable. Some 106 customers are affected, although half have since been reconnected.
Around 50 people remain off supply, with power expected to be restored by 6pm.
A spokesperson from SSE apologised for the loss of supply and said: "Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can.
"If you need more information, please call us on 105."
