A MAN has been arrested following a crash in Bournemouth this morning.

Police were called to a two-vehicle crash in Holdenhurst Road at 8.21am.

It involved a black BMW and a grey Ford Kuga.

A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the scene at 8.29am.

Two crews from Springbourne and Redhill Park attended as one person was believed to be trapped but following an assessment by paramedics, the crews assistance was not required.

The stop message was received at 8.44am.

South Western Ambulance Service said a male patient was treated at the scene for minor injuries. 

Dorset Police said a 27-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.

He is assisting police with their enquiries.
