A POST-MORTEM examination has found that a woman found dead in a shallow grave in her garden had been strangled.

Laureline Garcia-Bertaux, who was 34 and lived in Richmond, was reported missing after she did not turn up for work last Monday. She was a frequent visitor to Bournemouth.

Police found her body in Darell Road, Kew on Wednesday evening.

A statement released by the Met Police at the weekend reads: "A post-mortem examination was held at Uxbridge Mortuary on Saturday, March 9, and the cause of death has been given as consistent with compression of the neck pending toxicology."

No arrests have been made.
