TRAIN travellers are facing disrupted journeys across the network this afternoon due to high winds.
Officials from South Western Railway say there are cancellations to services on all routes, with disruption expected until the end of the day.
'Numerous' trees have come down on the railway, the spokesperson said. In addition, 50 mile per hour speed restrictions are in place as a result of the weather.
Tickets will be accepted on all Great Western Railway, London Underground and London bus services via any reasonable route.
The 4.12pm service between London Waterloo and Wareham, which was due at 7.02pm, has been cancelled altogether, as was the 2.20pm service between Wareham and Waterloo.
Other services will not serve Poole, but start from Bournemouth, because a tree has fallen on the line.
