DORSET-based animal rescue charity Margaret Green is hoping to find homes for seven animals in its care this week.

Six-month-old cat Holly is looking for a home with her sister, Ivy. They are both a little nervous but soon come out of their shells and become affectionate. They are looking for a quiet forever home.

Patches the cat is nine-years-old and once he gets to know you is very sweet, although he gets very worried with vet handling. He is looking for a forever home where he’s the only pet and there are no small children.

Cat Flossy is eight-years-old and looking for a quiet forever home. She is still settling in at the moment and is a little worried.

Frankie the Greyhound is almost three-years-old and is a happy girl who likes to play with toys. She loves human company and can live with large dogs, teenagers but would prefer not to live with cats.

Jon Snow is a handsome two-year-old male Saluki who thrives on human attention. He’s smart and playful so picks things up really quickly. He would be most comfortable being the only pet in an adult only home.

Penguin is a four-year-old male Pointer cross who is at his happiest when he has company so would benefit from joining a family who are around for most of the day. He would be best as the only pet in an adult only home.

To rehome any of the cats at Church Knowle call 01929 480474 and for the dogs at Lincoln Farm call 01929 471340.
