A GREYHOUND who has been with Dorset-based animal rescue charity Margaret Green for more than 430 days is hoping to finally find his forever home with the help of Daily Echo readers.

Five-year-old Moose is currently based at the charity's Lincoln Farm centre in Winterborne Kingston.

One of his favourite things to do is to run around an enclosed field and he has been described as “super fast.”

Donna Vincent, fundraising and marketing assistant at Margaret Green, said: “He can also be quite laidback and enjoys a snooze on a comfy duvet. He’s looking for an adult only home with no other pets.”

Other dogs looking for their forever homes at Lincoln Farm include Barnaby, a three-and-a-half-year-old Lhasa Apso cross Pug who lost an eye recently but that doesn't affect him. He would be happy living with another dog of a similar temperament and is looking for a quieter home.

While Merlin is a very handsome and clever 10-month-old male cross breed. He likes playing fetch with bouncy balls, being around people and being given yummy kongs filled with peanut butter and cream cheese. He’s looking to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Cats Biggles, Norman and Barney at the charity’s Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre are also looking for homes.

Biggles is a 16-year-old sweet gentleman once he gets to know you. He’s an active lad but I also loves his home comforts and would like to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Norman, 11, is a little nervous but can be fairly 'chatty'. He would prefer a home where he’s the only pet with no small children.

Meanwhile, Barney, 11, is very nervous at the moment and can be very vocal. He is looking for a quiet adult only home with no other pets.
