DRIVERS have been warned the A338 Spur Road will be closed in both directions at the weekend.
The closure will take place between 8pm on Saturday and 6am on Sunday between Cooper Dean and the Ashley Heath roundabout.
There will also be two-way traffic lights on the B3073 Christchurch Road from 9pm until 5am.
It is the latest in a series of closures which have seen motorists diverted away from the main roadworks area.
The works, due to be completed in June, are currently in the second of two phases.
The southbound slip road onto the Spur Road at Blackwater Junction is being extended and a third lane is being added to the stretch of road on the A338 from Blackwater towards Cooper Dean.
