A ROAD in East Dorset was closed both ways this morning after a vehicle crashed into a tree.
Police were called to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the B3081 between Verwood and Cranborne at 6.38am.
The crash involved a black Renault Clio.
A paramedic attended and checked over the driver before he was taken home.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at 6.41am.
Two crews from Verwood and Cranborne attended.
No-one was trapped and one casualty was already out of the vehicle when crews arrived.
Firefighters assisted with scene safety and the stop message came in at 6.59am.
The B3081 was closed at the junction with Horton Road and at the Sutton Holms junction.
The local authority attended as the fallen tree was blocking the road.
