AN activity centre in the New Forest is inviting runners to take part in challenging trail later this month.

The Tyrell Trail 2019 is being held at Avon Tyrell Activity Centre in Bransgore on Saturday, February 23.

Runners will tackle the New Forest terrain during the 5k or 10k courses.

A spokesperson said: “It can be a very demanding race if run seriously, but truly fun to run if your interest is having a good cross country run in stunning surroundings.”

The event is limited to 250 runners and is on a first come first served basis.

There’s also a team category for the fastest men and women’s teams.

All finishers will receive a medal and there will also be prizes on offer.

Registration opens at 9.30am and the race sets off at 11am. Entry costs £15.
