FIRST it was David Schwimmer 'shoplifting' in Blackpool.

Now it's the turn of Prince Andrew to be 'accused' of doing likewise in Poole!

At least that's how it appears to amused commentators who clicked onto Dorset Police's Facebook Page to be confronted with the image of a right royal-looking suspect, who police want to speak to after a pushchair was stolen from Mothercare.

"It's Prince Andrew, isn't it?" asked one commentator, with one saying: "My thoughts too!" A further nine commentators agreed that the suspect did indeed resemble the Queen's second son.

Dorset Police have not commented on the suspect's looks but stuck to the facts, saying that he entered Mothercare on Poole Retail Park in Branksome at 3.14pm on Saturday January 12, 'browsed the pushchairs, selected one and then left without paying'.

Police Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “As part of my investigation I have been making enquiries to establish who this man is but these have so far been unsuccessful. I would ask anyone who knows who he is to please contact Dorset Police.”
