PLANS to convert a former Indian restaurant into a commercial unit and flats in Highcliffe have been approved.
The proposals for the premises which was previously occupied by Highcliffe Tandoori were given the green light by Christchurch Borough Council planners.
Alterations will take place to the ground floor and basement restaurant with flat above to form a space for financial and professional services with five flats.
A three-bed house will also be built at the rear of the site, which will be extended after land is severed.
