FANS will once again be able to celebrate a best-selling book series during this year’s Harry Potter Book Night.

The annual celebration will be held on February 7 in thousands of locations across the world, giving fans a chance to indulge in spellbinding activities and dress up as their favourite characters.

This year’s theme is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, honouring the home of magic and its many stories and secrets, as well as its rich history.

1. Waterstones in Bournemouth Arcade will be celebrating the series with quizzes, wand making, potions and more, from 4.30pm until 6pm for fans and muggles alike.

2. Swanage Library promises spells, spooks, games and all things Potter, from 4pm until 5.30pm.

3. Waterstones Poole will be assigning fans’ houses with the sorting hat, making Harry Potter badges, book readings, quizzes and much more. The magic will take place from 4pm – 8pm.

4. Kinson Library is hosting magical games and spellbinding activities for wizards, witches and muggles, ages 6+.

5. Waterstones Castlepoint are making Polyjuice potion, face painting and encouraging fans to dress in their house colours, from 4.30pm until 6pm.

6. Hamworthy Library is offering quizzes, puzzles and craft activities from 3pm – 4pm. Open to all ages, no booking required.

7. Waterstones Ringwood is celebrating the 20th anniversary of ‘The Prisoner of Azkaban’ with wand making, spell casting and a hidden golden snitch. The events will begin at 3pm until 6pm.
