THE Daily Echo is running another series of its free seminars in how businesses can benefit from online marketing.

The sessions aim to cut through the jargon and present the subject in a way that appeals to those with limited knowledge.

They cover subjects such as search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click (PPC) advertising and the power of websites.

The events are hosted by the Echo and LOCALiQ, the new name for the full range of advertising and digital services from the Daily Echo’s publisher, Newsquest.

Bournemouth’s events take place on Thursday, March 28, 9.30am, 12noon and 3pm, at the Marsham Court Hotel.

The subject of the 9.30am event is Building Your Online Presence, focusing on website building, SEO and display advertising.

At 12noon, the subject is Building Your Online Presence – focusing on search, social media and display advertising, and how to get them right.

And at 3pm, the topic is Social Media Mastery, taking in Instagram, Facebook lead ads, smart ads and LinkedIn.

Digital specialists will be on hand to speak to people one to one, but organisers say the environment will not be about sales, just free advice and information.

Every business attending will be entitled to a free online health check.

Previous events have attracted positive feedback from guests.

Andrew Filer from Mock Test Transfers said: “This was an excellent event. I wish I had attended sooner. It was a good introduction to the art of the impossible.”

Eddie Lawrence from Access Self Storage said: “I can highly recommend The digital seminar. Always a good idea to keep up to date with technology, plus it’s a great event to network and speak with other industries.”
