BOYS aged 11 and 12 and a 12-year-old girl were among those listed to appear at Poole Youth Court.

A court list for one day revealed a shocking catalogue of offences allegedly committed by children in the Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne and Christchurch area.

The children cannot be named for legal reasons and most of the cases are yet to be heard in full.

An 11-year-old boy from Wimborne has been charged with failing to comply with an Anti Social Behaviour Order and with burglary of a premises in Poole and a 12-year-old boy with racially/religiously aggravated harassment in Bournemouth.

A 12-year-old girl is accused of two cases of assault by beating, both against other females.

A 15-year-old boy from Christchurch faces a catalogue of offences including two cases of assaulting a female by beating, breaching a criminal behaviour order, resisting a police officer and theft of clothing from JD Sports.

He is also charged with stealing Grey Goose vodka from Waitrose in Christchurch, cosmetics from Boots and two pedal cycles.

The court list, for Tuesday January 8, also included a further two 13-year-olds, two aged 14, two aged 15, seven aged 16 and two 17-year-olds.

The charges against them ranged from robbery, attempted robbery, causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place to possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.

There were also charges of drugs possession, assault, theft, criminal damage, using threatening behaviour and motoring offences.

Of 14 young people due to appear in court for the morning session, just six turned up.
