FOUR Dorset pubs are giving away free drinks as part of a national campaign.

The Talbot in Bournemouth, The White Heather in Ferndown, The White Swan in Swanage and The Quay Inn at Wareham are all taking part in the ‘Cheer Up January’ campaign being run by pub company Ei Publican Partnerships during this month.

The chain says around 33,000 free drinks will be given away during the offer which comes to an end on Sunday. The give away started on January 2 and is available at around 1,000 pubs across the UK.

Drinks featured in the officer include Coors Light, Carling, Rekorderlig Strawberry and Lime low alcohol cider, J2O, Strongbow, Bulmers, John Smiths, Amstel, Heineken 0.0, Guinness and Gordon’s gin.

Managing director at Ei Publican Partnerships, Nick Light, said: “We recognise that many people are saving money in the New Year having indulged at Christmas so we’re making it easier by giving the nation a free drink.”
