THE entrepreneurs behind a host of successful businesses will share their stories with start-ups in Bournemouth.
How To Build a Knockout Brand is held on Wednesday, January 23, 6-9pm, at THIS Worskpace in the Daily Echo building.
It is the next in a series of Screw It Just Do It events held by StartUpU, the regional delivery partner for Virgin StartUp.
Speakers announced so far are:
- Roger Woodall, owner of the Bournemouth 7s Festival of sport and music;
- Andrew Quinlan, the former Royal Marine who turned his hobby of cider-making into the multi-million pound Orchard Pig, which he sold to the C&C group;
- Lucy Whittington, co-founder of Statzy, an app which allows businesses to see their social media stats in one place;
- Jonathan Davies, founder of vocational training business the Training Room;
- Clare Fielder of brand and design business Pistachio Club;
- Designer and brand consultant Becks Neale of Inkshed Design Studio.
Guests will be able to hear the stories behind the brands, sample the products, network with like-minded entrepreneurs and ask questions.
The event has been organised by Alex Chisnall, founder of StartUpU and presenter of the Screw It Just Do It podcast.
Tickets cost £15 including drinks and can be booked via Eventbrite.
