THE A31 was closed in both directions after a crash between two cars this morning.
Police had been in attendance following the report of incident between Roundhouse roundabout and turning for the Worlds End at 11.16am.
The collision involved a Vauxhall Astra and a Jeep.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said the ambulance and fire service were in attendance but it is believed no serious injuries were sustained.
Highways were contacted after reports of oil and other fluids in the road.
A diversion was put in place via the A350 and A35.
The road reopened around 1pm.
