A MAN was punched in the side of the face during a dispute at a car park in Christchurch.
The victim, a man aged in his 50s, was sitting in his vehicle at the Avon Beach car park at Mudeford when the incident happened at around 1.47pm on December 29.
A man got into the car in the neighbouring parking space before a row broke out between the two men over the manner in which the vehicles were parked.
The offender then got out of his vehicle, reached in through the window and grabbed the victim’s glasses before throwing them across the car.
He then punched the victim before getting back into his car and leaving the scene.
Dorset Police said: “Enquiries are ongoing to identify the offender and trace his vehicle. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
