TWO people arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a baby in Poole last year have been released without charge.
Police launched an investigation after a two-month-old girl stopped breathing at an address in Sunnyside Road, Upper Parkstone just after 7.30am on Saturday, February 3 2018.
The baby was rushed to hospital, but pronounced dead after she arrived.
A 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from Poole, were arrested on suspicion of murder. They were released under investigation while police inquiries continue.
Both have now been released without charge and will face no further police action.
The cause of the baby's death was unascertained. It is understood that an inquest will take place.
