A MAN is due to appear in court tomorrow after an alleged incident of verbal abuse during the Bournemouth Air Festival.
The 47-year-old from Poole has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court for an offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The appearance follows an incident in the car park behind Canford Cliffs library where people had gathered to watch the Red Arrows at 3pm on Friday August 31.
It was reported that a minor collision occurred and that one of the motorists approached a woman in her 30s and subjected her to verbal abuse.
