ARRESTS: More than 100 people have been arrested by Dorset Police during their drink and drug driving campaign
A DRIVER who admitted to drinking Jack Daniels whiskey 'until the early hours' managed to pass a roadside breath test - but then failed a drugs test. The motorist was stopped by Dorset Police traffic officers on Boxing Day.
The vehicle was flagged up due to possible cloned number plates.
According to the officers, the first thing the driver said to them was: "I am so worried as I was drinking Jack Daniels until the early hours." His children were also passengers in the car.
He was taken into custody after failing a roadside drug wipe.
