FURTHER to Robert Readman’s letter on Monday 17 December, ‘Expect Delays’, we can confirm that we replied to his enquiry on the same afternoon.
As our response stated: “The closest service we have [from Bournemouth Square] to Christchurch Hospital would be via the 1a service which runs along Barrack Road, and you would need to alight at Jumpers Road stop and walk along Jumpers Road to the hospital and this would be about a 10 minute walk.”
The 10 day response target is for less urgent enquiries. We always aim to reply more swiftly if it is a ‘route-related’ question.
If there is demand for a service to the hospital and subsidies are available we would be happy to work with the local authority to provide it.
