The A31 near Ringwood
ONE lane of the A31 in the New Forest will be closed overnight for two weeks.
From Wednesday, one lane of the A31 will be shut westbound between Stoney Cross and Picket Post from 9pm until 6am on weekdays.
Highways England said the closure will enable "vegetation management" to take place to improve wildlife habitats.
Elsewhere, the eastbound entry slip road on the A31 at Ringwood will be closed for two nights from tonight.
The slip will be closed between 9pm and 6am for drainage work.
A signed diversion will be in place from the Ashley Heath Roundabout and back.
