BOURNEMOUTH'S popular Alpine Lodge bar is offering a host of new features this Christmas.

The two-storey structure has a new balcony, so visitors can take in the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth Square as well as enjoy cosy indoor seating across two floors.

Every Tuesday night, people can take part in a weekly interactive quiz while on Sundays there’s live acoustic performances from talented local acts.

The lodge offers an après-ski-inspired drinks menu, including traditional spiced mulled wine and toffee apple cider with a dash of rum. And every Thursday between 4pm and 7pm, it will be hosting a

happy hour.

Meanwhile for foodies, this year the Alpine Lodge has partnered up with Bisou De Vin to create the ultimate sharing board featuring a range of artisan meats and cheeses.

Also, all festive street food purchased from within the Christmas market can also now be enjoyed on the second floor of the Alpine Lodge. Items on sale at the market include loaded fries, Yorkshire pudding wraps and traditional Bratwurst as well as vegan goods.

The Alpine market and lodge are part of Bournemouth’s Christmas Tree Wonderland attraction which runs until January 2.
