CHILDREN at Poole schools made 1,500 poppies to commemorate Armistice Day.
Youngsters at the TEACH Trust schools have been learning about Armistice Day, and took part in a remembrance assembly, with a special two minute silence.
The pupils have also been making poppies and wrote their own personal remembrance message onto the leaf of each poppy.
These were then displayed, as a mark of respect by each child, along their school fence.
Staff also made a poppy wreath out of their hand prints.
The youngsters also created remembrance poetry.
TEACH (The Educational Alliance of Canford Heath), includes Ad Astra Infant School, Haymoor Junior School, Canford Heath Infant School and Canford Heath Junior School.
At Heatherlands School in Poole, pupils from year one to six have been involved in a range of activities including battleship design, map-making poetry, and art including trenches from sponges and cereal boxes.
