A DRIVER was caught using two phones at the wheel.
Dorset Police’s No Excuse team posted about the incident on their Facebook page on Friday, saying it was a “first for the team”.
The driver was caught with one phone between her ear and shoulder “chatting away”, while texting on another phone at the bottom of the steering wheel, officers said.
The driver was issued with six points on her licence and a £200 fine for the offence.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the No Excuse team stopped a driver in Poole who had a phone in his hand.
“The driver said he was using Siri at the time and said it was hands-free – other than it being held in his right hand,” the team said.
The driver was given six points and a £200 fine.
