THIS ADORABLE two-week-old baby could be Poole Pirates’ youngest fan.

Little Max West was born to speedway-mad parents Gareth West and Louise French on March 28.

Gareth and Louise, who live in Poole, are both Poole Pirates season ticket holders.

Max, who is the couple’s first child, was due on the SGB Premiership club’s annual press and practice day but held off just long enough for mum Louise to take in some of the action at the club’s Wimborne Road stadium.

Gareth has been attending Pirates meetings since he was five-years-old and has only missed a handful of races in 30 years.

He met Louise, originally from Wiltshire, in 2014 and the couple attend the hugely anticipated British Speedway Grand Prix at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium every year as well as weekly meetings to watch the Pirates.

Louise said: “I actually found out I was pregnant on July 26 last year while we were watching Poole race against the Somerset Rebels. The Pirates lost that night so hopefully it won’t be an omen!”
