A 66-YEAR-OLD man arrested after a gas explosion which wrecked flats in Poole remains in hospital.
Police said the man, who suffered serious injuries in the blast in Sterte Road on Tuesday, is still being treated at a hospital in Bristol.
Emergency services were called after an explosion ripped through a semi-detached property, which is divided into two flats.
The man was airlifted to Bristol and was also arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage with intent to endanger life. Police have since released him under investigation.
