A 19-YEAR-OLD man is critical following a head-on collision near Kingston Lacy.
The local man was taken to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester by air ambulance following the collision that occurred on the B3082 just after 4pm on Monday.
His silver Vauxhall Corsa heading towards Blandford was in collision with a BMW and a 32-tonne heavy goods vehicle.
A local mother and her nine-year-old son travelling in the BMW and the driver of the lorry were treated at the scene for shock.
The National Trust property Kingston Lacy was closed on Monday afternoon following the collision.
Dorset Police received a number of calls following the crash.
Road diversions were put in place and accident investigators were sent to the scene.
