THE B3082 by National Trust property Kingston Lacy was closed on Monday afternoon following a head-on collision.
One person was taken by air ambulance to hospital.
Dorset Police received a number of calls following the crash, which happened just after 4pm.
Road diversions were put in place and accident investigators were sent to the scene.
