The beach by the Fisherman's Walk cliff lift in Southbourne
AS a family we love to go to Southbourne beach which we enjoy all year round.
This weekend was no exception, until a dog owner allowed her dog with an extension lead to whip my two-year-old granddaughter off her feet. She banged her head and had two bleeding lacerations to the back of her legs due to the lead. This was a dreadful end to a morning out. I have always felt that a part of the beach should be dog free all year round. Now I believe this even more. I will not be taking my grandchildren down the beach now until next year's dog ban starts!
