A MAN has admitted driving while disqualified four times during the summer.
Trevor Simpson, of Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, was caught behind the wheel of a Ford Focus a number of times during June, July and August, despite being the subject of a driving ban.
The 56-year-old appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court last week to plead guilty to the charges, as well as four charges of driving without insurance. He also admitted the commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made at Bournemouth Crown Court on February last year for an offence of burglary.
Simpson drove the vehicle in Russell Cotes Road on July 13, Christchurch Road on both July 16 and August 17, and the A338 Wessex Way on June 29.
A sentencing hearing was adjourned until November to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
