POLICE have arrested three people in connection with damage caused to buses in Christchurch.
As reported by the Daily Echo, a pellet was fired a Yellow Buses service travelling in Somerford Road, Purewell on September 19.
During the incident two windows on the bus were damaged.
Following officer inquiries, two male teenagers, aged 14 and 18, and a 24-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and released under investigations as inquiries continue.
Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team have had an increased presence in the area in recent weeks and also held a street corner meeting for members of the public to discuss their concerns about this and other reported incidents.
Police are also liaising with Yellow Buses.
