A DRUG driver who had two children in the back of his car has been banned from the roads for a year.
Sean Johnson, of Broadmayne Road in Poole, was stopped behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo in Wimborne Road on July 8.
Tests revealed he had 58 micrograms of cocaine derivative benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The limit is 50.
Two children in the vehicle were also sharing a single seatbelt.
Johnson, 45, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on October 10 to admit drug driving, driving without an MOT and using a vehicle when the number of passengers, or the manner in which they were carried, was likely to cause danger.
He was fined £140 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £85 costs, as well as being disqualified from driving.
