Car-Link dealership at Iford roundabout
PLANS for a car rental chain to take over a car sales centre off Iford roundabout are set to be approved.
Enterprise Rent-a-Car submitted a planning application to make alterations to the existing Car-Link facility and to build a car wash bay.
The application was called in for consideration by the council’s planning board after concerns were raised by Cllr Lawrence Williams about the additional traffic the new business would create and that it would add “more noise and disturbance to the area”.
Despite his concerns, council planning officers are recommending that the application be approved at the meeting of the planning board on Monday (October 15).
