A MAN walking 7,000 miles of UK coastline to raise awareness about littering reached Poole on Thursday.
Wayne Dixon and canine companion Koda set off from Knott End, Lancashire, in 2016 on a mission to walk and litter pick the entire length of the coast.
Mr Dixon has also been raising funds for charity MIND in memory of his father John, who suffered from bipolar disorder and died in 2012.
The pair arrived in Poole on Thursday afternoon and met up at Bournemouth Pier with Peter Ryan, founder of Dorset Devils litter picking group, a group of eager volunteers and town centre councillor David Smith to give the beach a spruce up.
