FOUR sportswomen from Dorset have been shortlisted in the 2018 Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards.
Golfer Georgia Hall is in the running to win Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year and Young Sportswoman of the Year.
Poole swimmer Alice Tai has been nominated for Disability Sportswoman of the Year. Para alpine ski guide and former Bournemouth schoolgirl Jennifer Kehoe has also been nominated for the same award along with her visually impaired partner, Menna Fitzpatrick.
Meanwhile, gymnastics coach Pat Mathie has been shortlisted for the Grassroots Award. The former gymnast has been coaching at Avonbourne Gym Club in Bournemouth for the past 15 years.
The winners will be revealed at a star-studded awards ceremony on Thursday, November 1.
