POLICE investigating a reported assault at Asda in Castlepoint have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
The incident happened on Sunday, June 24, at around 12.30pm.
A member of the public reported that she had witnessed a man assaulting a person while shopping in the supermarket.
Police Constable Jacqui Allen said "detailed enquiries" to identify the man and the potential victim had "not proved successful".
"As a result I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man who I would like to speak to as he may have some information that could assist with my investigation.
“I would ask this man or anyone who knows him to please contact Dorset Police.”
