Bournemouth Marathon Festival is back this weekend.

With events on Saturday and Sunday, the autumn running festival across Bournemouth is likely to see thousands of people turnout to take part and cheer on family and friends.

And as a result, there are a few road closures to ensure the safety of the runners and spectators.

BUSES

More Bus and Yellow Bus will operate their usual route via Seabourne Road, Southbourne Road and Belle Vue Road using one side of the road while runners are on the other. Please note that you may need to cross the road to get on the bus. Marshals will be able to assist if required.

RESIDENTS

There will be an exit point for residents of Harbour Road. There will be a marshal at the top of the road. Organisers are asking people to please be patient as marshals may need to communicate with each other. If you need to access closed roads but don't live there, move your vehicle to a connecting street. While roads are only closed to vehicles, they are open for pedestrian use.
