Traffic at the junction of Alder Road and Yarmouth Road in Poole
I HAVE read numerous letters that all relate to the chronic slowdown on our local road network.
Tied in with this problem is the question of how people resident to Poole and beyond are going to access A&E facilities at Bournemouth hospital in an acceptable amount of time.
To further accentuate the traffic problem, we read daily of new building proposals applications (few which are ever overturned) that will add to the problem. For example, the article headlined "site earmarked for 650 homes" north of Merley (Echo, September 14).
Is there no joined up thinking at local councils?
