A THIEF who stole alcohol worth almost £400 on ten separate occasions has been jailed.
Matthew House, who is of no fixed abode, targeted Asda in West Quay Road, Poole on consecutive days between September 10 and 15.
He also stole alcohol from Marks and Spencer at the Dolphin Centre on three occasions in August, and shoplifted from Waitrose in Christchurch once.
In addition, House, 45, stole coffee worth £54.45 from Sainsbury's in Poole High Street.
He has now been jailed for a total of five weeks after admitting 11 counts of theft and one of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, which took place in Bournemouth on August 28.
Magistrates ordered him to pay the assault victim £300 in compensation.
