HOW much would you pay for a good night’s sleep? A luxurious bed worth a whopping £75,000 has come to Bournemouth.

The Diamond Majesty is billed as the most expensive bed in the world and is making an appearance at Beds Are Uzzz in Southbourne.

People will have until Sunday to try it out.

Designed by British heritage brand, Vispring, the bed boasts vanadium pocket springs and “sumptuous fillings” to provide the ultimate sleep experience including platinum certified Shetland wool, cashmere, silk, and bamboo.

British horsetail, organic cotton and vicuna alpaca wool also feature in the mattress.

A spokesperson said: “As one of the most valuable and rarest fibres in the world, Vicuna Alpaca Wool is a vital ingredient in crafting the perfect bed from Vispring.

“It is ultra-soft and hypo-allergenic, with excellent insulating properties to provide ultimate comfort to the sleeper throughout the night, whatever the temperature.”

The bed, which is currently the only one made, was first showcased at Salone del Mobile in Milan in April and is currently on an exclusive tour of Beds Are Uzzz showrooms across England.
