As a local, born and bred, I have used the facilities around here for most of my life, enjoying all the amenities of the lovely, charming, and historical beach hotels at Sandbanks.
The thought of Aparthotels replacing them makes me shudder.
We do not have any decent hotels in Poole near the sea.
Most of the land has been developed for either the rich and famous or by constructing unattractive flats and houses.
We need beautiful hotels to attract the tourists, not more second home owners.
We need decent facilities for the locals to use.
The decision to renovate these buildings should be made by tourist experts.
